Dominique Maddox of EATS Broker attends the International Business Brokers Association conference at the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky. The IBBA conference brings the top business brokers from around the nation together to foster professional growth, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of ethical practices worldwide. It is known as the Business Broker Event of the Year.

This year’s event was unique because it celebrated the 40th anniversary of the International Business Brokers Association. The conference, held on May 11th-12th, was packed with informational sessions covering all aspects of business brokerage.

Dominique Maddox, the Restaurant Business Broker, shares, “This was my first IBBA conference, and it was a transformative experience. The conference exceeded my expectations, providing a wealth of educational information on best practices for Business Brokerage. The opportunity to network with industry leaders was truly invaluable.”

The conference offered a selection of topics for brokers to choose from.

The Restaurant Broker attended the following breakout sessions:

-If you want to be a better Restaurant Broker

-Navigating the latest SBA changes to close more transactions

-Building your Brand: How to stand out from your competition

-Proven marketing practices that can help you close more business sales transactions

-How to be the world’s best Business Brokers

The conference was an opportunity for the Restaurant Broker to qualify to take the test for the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation. EATS Broker qualified for the fast-track program to become a Certified Business Intermediary requirements based on experience and closed transactions.

Looking ahead, the International Business Brokers Association Conference next year will be held in the vibrant city of Orlando, FL.
